Umeeverse Genesis Launch — Calling All Umee Supporters!
Yesterday, the Umee network announced its official Coinlist sale. As a base layer blockchain, we’re excited to be building alongside the community as we’re launching this Cross Chain DeFi Hub.
The Umeeverse is constantly expanding and today we are announcing our Umeeverse Genesis Launch!
Everyone is here because we believe in the same vision that blockchains shouldn’t work in isolation and DeFi applications have tremendous potential when coordinating seamlessly across blockchains — imagine earning ATOM staking rewards while only holding ETH or staking Luna while using it to earn Sushi liquidity mining rewards (!!). Umee is here to make it happen and we are just getting started. With over 500 participants in our first validator program as well as a constantly evolving community of ecosystem contributors, we can’t wait to build the Umeeverse to be one of the most active and supportive communities in the entire crypto space.
Umeeverse Mission
As part of this mission, Umee community members are encouraged to complete various tasks and missions. These include though are not limited to:
- Create educational content and/or translations
- Enhance the social media presence for Umee
- Contribute to the technical discussion and development of Umee
- Be a Umeevenger validator
- Be helpful to each other in the Umee ecosystem!
Procedural Requirements
We don’t require participants to perform all of the tasks, though we hope community participants can be as active as possible. We are grateful for our existing community members and we are thrilled to have more Umeevers ;) to join the community. In the Umeeverse Genesis Launch, we ask participants to:

- Make a meaningful contribution and submit the link
Examples of meaning contributions include:
- Create and share educational content (article, tweets, memes, blog post, video, podcast, etc)
- Create translation of Umee’s documentation or Umee blog posts and share it on a regionally-significant platform
- Use your invite link to invite your friends to the Umee Discord
- Create and share Umee infographics, memes, or design(s)
- Provide documentation around network set up and implementation
- Contribute to Github repos, wiki docs, and technical discussions
- Curate constructive conversations on Umee platforms
- Launching an Umee validator to participate in our public testnet and betanet
- Contribute to validator infrastructure for the future Umeevengers Adversarial Testnet

You can use this form to submit your participation and verify task completion. The Umee team might be in touch to request additional documentation including additional information about network contributions.

- Become a Delegator to the Umee network by staking UMEE onto network validators
- Join our validator alliance programs
- Participate in bug bounty programs
- Test out Umee functionality
We want to make this a rewarding experience for contributors and intend to provide multiple opportunities to onboard folks into the Umeeverse. For Participants in the Umeeverse Genesis Launch, we will be including contributor specific opportunities to participate in ecosystem events as well as priority in accessing community driven programs.
The Umeeverse Genesis Launch community program will run from November 20th 2021 to November 27th 2021 (Deadline is Nov 27th 00:00 UTC). Be on the lookout for further updates!!!
